Most of our students find their time in V.S. Niketan strenuous but rewarding. Most would accept that what they have got out of their course is in direct proportion to what they have put in. V.S. Niketan maintains quality in all levels of teaching and learning.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is the outcome of the desire of our Parents/ Guardians and community members. The BBA program has been started in the affiliation of Pokhara University from the year 2057 B.S. The first batch competed in the year 2003 has proved themselves most successful.

It is a matter of immense pleasure for me to mention the fact that many students have appeared in Dean's list. I believe, this in itself is a burning proff of excellent performance of BBA students.

One of the big advantages for you in the college is the easiest access to teaching staff and constant interaction with fellow students in college.

This provides an excellent opportunity for broadening your interests and horizons, getting involved in University life, and making new friends. In fact, one of the real strengths of the college is the close individual support you receive from an expert and concerned teaching staff.

The BBA programs intends to fulfill following objectives:

-Preparing students to take up entry level managerial skill  to start a professional career in business management.
-Inculcating, abilities, practical skills and a positive  attitude required for a competent and responsible  manager.

- Developing necessary foundation for graduate studies in management.
- Giving the environment where students can cultivate their hidden and inner potentiality.
- Helping the students develop the knowledge and skills to use their ability in their real    lives.
- Helping the students to take the challenges of the coming days curiously and efficiently.
- Preparing students for meeting the world-wide needs of trades and industries.
- Developing decision-making ability and thinking independently in the students.

The BBA program in V.S.N. has following features:

- Methods of teaching will be supported by case studies, group discussion, project    assignment, field visits and class presentation.
-  Audio-video and internet will be made accessible as per the demand of the subject.
- Students' participation, group discussion, individual presentations are emphasized to increase the confidence level and develop leadership and communication skills in the student.

- The prospective students may come from a variety of disciplines, such as business education, science education, and other fields of education like social science, medicine, engineering, liberal arts, etc.
-The final decision on admission is taken on the basis of:z
a) scores on the admission tests administered by faculty
b) interviews and
c) past academic performance of the applicants

The special feature is the education system and evaluation that helps the students to suit their own pace of learning. The college follows the semester with the internal evaluation system. Continuous assessment of students' performance is adopted to provide feedback and to help the student to develop the performances in regular basis.
Such assessments are treated as internal evaluation which carries one half of the total weight of the evaluation of the university. In other word the mark so obtained by the student are to the final grade awarded. Such internal assessment will be based on students participation in the class, home assignment, project work, class test, and quiz etc.

On the whole evaluation system can be said as:

-Continuous evaluation of the students' performance by giving him/her flexibility to progress at a pace suited to his/her innate ability is the prominent feature of the system.
- Each semester is covered by the courses that impart the knowledge and skills in different areas. Courses are of very smart in nature, having 3 credit- hour per course in general that means it requires 3 hours in a week and 48 hours in a semester covering six months time.

- There is a provision of internal evaluation, which is conducted by faculty members of the course and it has 50% weight of total evaluation.

At the end of each semester students are awarded grades based on grades and marks obtained in various segments of the course evaluation.

- The grade marks awarded to the students in a course are based on his or consolidated performances in both internal evaluation (50%) and external evaluation (50%). The grading system is designed in such a way so that it matches with reputed foreign universities and to facilitate the interpretation of students' performance. The students will be graded at the range of A to F. A is graded as 'Excellent' and F as 'Failed'
-Photocopies of detailed evaluation system of Pokhara University will be distributed in the College later on.

1. V.S.Niketan believes in achieving standard quality and standard education in affordable fee rates.
2. Fees schedule may be different to the different batches. Therefore, the fee chart shall be made available to the relevant batch at the time of admission.
3. All University Fees (i.e. affiliation, Course Regd. Exam etc.) will be charged separately. College fees will be charged in installment bills.
4. Tuition Fees is charged for 12 months in four installments (i.e. 2 installment for each semester)
5. Course Retake Registration Rs. 500/- per retake course and course retake fee Rs. 500 per course/per month shall be charged to all course retake students.
6. The deposit amount will be refunded only after the successful completion of the programme.
7. No part of fee, already paid, will be refunded at any case.
